Last night I finally finished my #MayCAL project!
BLAM!
Towards the end, someone within the crochet group noticed that mine wasn’t as full as the others. Apparently, I crocheted it too tight. I guess this is an extension of how I feel inside….I guess. ;p Anyways, I plan on making more and those should be a lot better than this one.
Before doing the back, I’m going to take a break. I am actually testing a pattern for someone in the group. I stayed up late (to about 3 am) trying to get started with the pattern. Can’t give out too much information about it since we are still in the testing phase. But once it is done, I will make sure that I’ll post the pictures. It’s been difficult for me but I am getting through. The directions are very thorough…I just have to mind my stitching. The good thing is, I get the pattern for free! So I am that more determined to get it right and by the deadline.
Well back to the hook! Happy crocheting!
God Bless!
Love the colour combo you used! =D

Thanks! My daughter picked out the colors. Purple and pink are her favorite colors and out of all the different shades they had, she picked the brightest ones. I had to help her along with the blue though…. ;P

Thanks! It has taken me about 36 hours to do….give or take 5 hours. I wasn’t really keeping time. But the back of the cushion is just dc so it won’t take nearly as much time as the front.

Thanks! It’s almost done. May finish it today and then I have to either find a form or stuff it with fill.

Thank you so much! I learned a lot while making it. It was part of a crochet along project. The info for the group and more about the cushion can be found in the post below. You’ll need a Google+ account to join the group. They’re a great bunch of people.

Thanks so much! I am making a blanket as well. I have to post it on my Ravelry as one of my projects. I’m still new to everything so it may take a bit. Let me know how it goes!

Hi Tia. Are you the same lady that made my daughter a duck hat ? We met at McDonalds @ Hanes Mall in Winston Salem, NC.

No ma’am. I’m sorry. I’ve never been to Winston Salem before. I have no idea where it is even though I’ve been living in NC for almost a year. Though, if you do want to commission a piece or your daughter or loved ones, I’ll be more than glad to help you! My contact information: TiasSpaceWordPress@gmx.com
