Good morning! I hope that everyone had a great weekend, hopefully, despite the heat in some areas. Monday’s have become a sense of dread for a majority of society though it doesn’t have to be.
A POSITIVE change of thought can change the way you view things in life. There are some people that are truly happy. I have met a couple in my life and I have asked them why. The answer I go was basically the same…I chose to be happy despite my circumstance. We are conditioned to embrace the “suck” but not at being happy. Hopefully these verses will change your state of mind and make it easier for you to face the rest of the day and the week.
Philippians 4:8 – Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things [are] honest, whatsoever things [are] just, whatsoever things [are] pure, whatsoever things [are] lovely, whatsoever things [are] of good report; if [there be] any virtue, and if [there be] any praise, think on these things.
Proverbs 17:22 – A merry heart doeth good [like] a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.
Philippians 4:13 – I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
Romans 12:2 – And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Jeremiah 29:11 – For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
Ephesians 4:31-32 – Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.
Matthew 12:35 – A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.
Changing your thought pattern takes time but it can be done. We just have to have the willingness to change.
Have a great day!
